Marty Stanton, P.T., is Co-Owner of NorthSound Physical Therapy and a Physical Therapist since 1989. Marty was born in New Jersey and moved to Yakima, Washington in 1981. While attending Eastern Washington University, he was introduced to the profession of physical therapy the hard way, as a patient! Fortunately, while at EWU he also met his future wife, Diana and was married in 1987. In 1989 Marty graduated from EWU with a BS degree in Physical Therapy and a BA degree in Psychology. In 1994 Marty and Diana were blessed with the first of three children, Dustin. Twin boys, Bryce and Kyle, followed in 1997.

Marty is part of a very active family that enjoys boating, jet skiing, fishing, snow skiing, snowboarding and all sport activities. Their favorite family activity is spending weekends at their cabin on Lake Wenatchee. When not involved with “family time”, Marty often finds himself weight training, playing golf with his buddies or watching his favorite football teams (Seattle Seahawks and Oregon State Beavers).

Drake was born and raised in nearby Stanwood, WA. He attended Lakewood High School and had wanted to be a physical therapist since the age of 14 after watching his grandfather receive treatment here at NorthSound for a hip replacement. After high school, he earned his Bachelors of Exercise Science at Eastern Washington University. He then moved on to Touro University Nevada and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During his time there, he met his future wife, Katie, who is also a physical therapist, and they were married on 9/7/24. He has now returned home to help his community reach their therapeutic goals. In his time outside the clinic, Drake enjoys being active in any and all sports activities, especially snowboarding, pickleball, golf, and volleyball. In addition, he loves to go on hikes with his GSD, Enzo. His favorite sports teams are the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners, and the Oregon Ducks.

NorthSound Smokey Point has been Dan’s “home away from home” for since 2001. Dad was born in California and spent his childhood there, as well as Texas. As a young adult, many summers were spent in Alaska working in the salmon canning machinery industry. Seeking a change of occupation and having a desire to work in healthcare and more directly with people, he sought a PTA degree at Whatcom Community College, graduating in 2001. He found his niche when he came to NorthSound PT and has never looked back. As much as he enjoys working with a variety of patients and incredible staff, he equally enjoys being a dedicated fan to the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners. His vacation time quite often brings he and his wife from their home in Burlington, to Moscow, Idaho, to visit their daughter with some additional trips to Hawaii to enjoy some much-needed sun. Dan also enjoys pool, good 70/80s music, and roughing with the family cat, Axel Rose.
