Barbara Acoba, PTA, CCI
I was born and raised in California, then lived in Hawaii for 10 years before making my way to Washington. After a long career as a court reporter, I needed a change. Realizing my passion was helping people, becoming a PTA was the perfect fit.
I graduated with honors from Pima Medical Institute in 2015. Since then, I have worked in various aspects of physical therapy: pediatrics, skilled nursing, return to work, and outpatient orthopedics. My goal is to make therapy fun and educational. I believe in providing my patients with the knowledge and skills they need for lifelong success.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and twin daughters. We love to travel and snowboard. I like movies and music and am always up for a good round of trivia!
