NorthSound Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed PTA to become part of our experienced and dedicated team.

NorthSound Physical Therapy is a locally owned outpatient practice with 7 clinics across North Seattle, Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Marysville, Smokey Point, Stanwood, and Oak Harbor.

Details

  • Position: Part-time
  • Compensation: $26 – $37 /hr, commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Schedule: Wednesday – Friday, 4-day weekend every week
  • Compensation: $26.00 – $37.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Position: Part-time (benefits eligible at 30 hours/week)
  • Work Location: In person
  • Ability to commute to Oak Harbor

Responsibilities

  • Assist the physical therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs, medical history, and goals.
  • Conduct exercises and therapeutic activities as prescribed by the physical therapist, focusing on improving patients’ range of motion, flexibility, strength, and endurance.
  • Observe and evaluate patients’ progress during therapy sessions, documenting and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
  • Collaborate with the physical therapy team to develop and modify treatment plans as necessary, based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
  • Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their therapy sessions, promoting a positive and motivating environment for their rehabilitation.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Washington.
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of patients and modify treatment plans accordingly.
